Tired of being an average team?
Almost all of our work is in teams. The quality of that team has an incredible impact on performance. We spend so much time with our team mates. But, we don’t always know what makes them tick. This creates misunderstandings, slows down communication and eats away at trust. We help teams improve their performance. We work with administrative teams, leadership teams, grade level teams, and entire faculties. When teams thrive students benefit.
Build Better Teams
The Horwitz Consulting Group knows that strong teams trust each other, communicate well, and lean into each other’s strengths to create better learning experiences for children. We utilize a 3D Strengths based approach that begins with each participant completing the Clifton Strengths Assessment.
In our Building Better Teams program, participants will:
Discover their strengths, understand how their strengths show up, and put a name to those patterns of thoughts, feelings and behaviors.
Participants will develop a deeper level of understanding, awareness and appreciation of their strengths; start to understand the totality of how their strength shows up. And, begin to match them to organizational and team goals.
Participants will deploy their strengths to positively impact their organization. It's not enough to just know your strengths, you must also take responsibility for actually using them. Enhance your performance and uplift the performance of other people around you; goal setting using an "Individual Development Plan."
DNA of Your Team
Each team has its own unique DNA, the qualities that make that team special and unique. When harnessed, those qualities lead to peak performance. How do you harness those unique gifts and qualities? It begins with understanding your team’s unique gifts and strengths. Our Team DNA work helps you map our your team’s strengths and blind spots so you can lean into each other’s strengths, and compensate for blind spots thereby being more productive and perform better.
Working with Millennials and Gen Z
Our workforce is continuing to change. Your team mates will identify as Millennials or Gen Z and are becoming a bigger part of the work force. It is the most diverse generation that is out there. And that's going to have big implications for what the workforce looks like.
To develop the next generation of organizational leaders, every employer needs to be asking: What do our younger workers want from the workplace?
We can help you unlock their talents and abilities so that your team can perform better.
